Outlook Live Mail, Calendar and Contacts
An Exchange 2010 mailbox that has a 10 GB quota and that can be accessed via the usual POP and IMAP clients or via Outlook Web Access 2010 (OWA). The web client supports features such as right click, drag and drop and works with multiple browsers such as IE, Safari and Firefox. You can create multiple calendars that can be shared with others.

Office Web Apps
Office Web Apps lets you create, view and edit Microsoft Office documents online even if you don't have Office installed locally. You can share your documents and edit them with others at the same time. As you edit, you have access to previous versions through built-in document versioning. Office Web Apps work on Windows, Mac and Linux computers using Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox respectively.

Put and end to those lost assignments and reports caused by lost or damaged USB sticks. As students you will receive 7GB of free storage which will enable you to share and store thousands of documents.
SkyDrive for Windows (Vista, 7 and 8) when installed is automatically available from any desktop app and from within Windows Explorer.
SkyDrive now supports files up to 2GB (20x increase) and offline access.
Upload large files up to 2GB from your desktop or up to 300MB from SkyDrive.com.
Remotely access any file stored on your Windows PC from SkyDrive.com in your web browser (If you enable this feature).
Access and share any file on the go with SkyDrive for Windows Phone, iPhone or iPad.

Messenger
Windows Live Messenger enables you to aggregates your social network updates (Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, and more) so you don't need to access multiple sites to see what's new with your friends. You can even prioritise these updates. Chat in high definition, and if your friends are not online leave them a video message. Messenger is also integrated into Outlook Live so you can see the online status of friends when checking your mail and initiate a chat session right from within the browser.
