IMAP, POP and SMTP Settings for Connecting to your Live@edu Mailbox
Swinburne students can use the following settings for configuring an IMAP or POP mail client to connect to their Live@edu mailbox:
External POP setting:
Server name: pod51003.outlook.com
Port: 995
Encryption method: SSL
External IMAP setting:
Server name: pod51003.outlook.com
Port: 993
Encryption method: SSL
External SMTP setting:
Server name: pod51003.outlook.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: TLS
