There are two different types of Windows Live Services:

1) Those that are part of Live@edu: Outlook Live (mail, calendar and contacts) and Office Web Apps

2) All other Windows Live Services: SkyDrive, Messenger, Groups, Photo Gallery and Mesh etc...

The services above that are included as part of Live@edu come with Premier Support from Microsoft which enables Swinburne to lodge support requests if needed to resolve issues. The ITS Service Desk is therefore able to provide a higher level of support for these services.

All other Windows Live services do not include any support facilities that enable Swinburne to lodge incidents on your behalf. While the ITS Service Desk will attempt to assist with any issues relating to these services where possible, any problems that need Microsoft's attention will need to be escalated by the student using the Windows Live Support Forums

There is an extensive series of help pages available at http://help.outlook.com to assist with most aspects relating to Outlook Live.

There is also an online forum available to answer questions specific to Outlook Live at http://outlookliveanswers.com/

For Live services not provided as part of Live@edu such as SkyDrive, Photo Gallery or Messenger, support is available directly from Microsoft via their online forums at http://support.live.com.
